| Silica
Gels |
| Silica Gels are produced with a
wide range of key attributes. Our manufacturing flexibility allows us to produce silica
gels with pore diameters up to 200 nm and with pore volumes up to 2.5 ml/g. |
| Particle sizes for our gels range
from a few microns for granular and spray dried gels through to 4 mm for granular
gels. Surface areas of our carriers range from as low as 25m2/g up to
750m2/g. Please contact us for further details on our silica gel product
range including extrudates and tablets, surface treated and modified gels. |

| Mixed
Oxide Gels |
| of three different types are
available where the silica gel has been modified during manufacturing with compatible
oxides such as alumina, titania or zirconia as described below. |
- Type I : Co-gelation - co-oxide dispersed throughout the bulk
- Type II : Heterogeneous Co-precipitation - co-oxide enriched
in the shell of the particle
- Type III: Surface Impregnation - co-oxide dispersed on the
surface

| The types of co-oxide, their
content, the particle size (up to 4 mm) of the mixed oxide gel and its structural
characteristics(P.V.S.A. pore diameter) can be varied to meet customer requirements.

| Aluminum
Phosphate Gels |
| Aluminum Phosphate Gels (fully
amorphous) combine the chemistry of a solid weak acid with the physical properties of a
porous, high-surface-area material. They are available in industrial relevant quantities
with the following variations: Pore volume (H2O) from 0.5 to 2.1 ml/g, a fixed
surface area (BET) of 250 m˛/g and a P/Al atomic ratio of 1. |

| DAVICAT® Aluminas |
| Aluminas are available as both
high purity beads and extrudates. Beads range from 0.7 - 1.4 mm in diameter with surface
areas of 130 and 220 m˛/g and pore volumes up to 1.2 ml/g. Extrudates range from 0.5 to
1.25 mm, with various pore size distributions. Please contact Davison to discuss the
requirements for your specific applications. |

| DAVICAT® Zeolites |
| Zeolites type A,
X, Y, USY and ZSM-5 are produced on a commercial scale in varying Si to Al ratios. These
zeolites are available as powders or modified into beads or monoliths. Grace has the
ability to supply on a customer proprietary basis any of the advanced zeolites such as
Beta. We can also offer ion-exchanged and impregnated zeolites based on the above
