single-site catalysts, we offer the capabilities to manufacture
a vast array of organometallic compounds including metallocenes.
Multi-step ligand syntheses, including those required for chiral
catalysts, are a specialty of ours. We have experience with
all types of ligands:
- substituted and unsubstituted cyclopentadienyls, indenyls,
and fluorenyls
- nitrogen-based
- bridged (ethylene, dialkyl and diaryl silyl, dialkyl and
diaryl methylene)
We make compounds with any metal, especially
- Group IV (Ti, Zr, Hf)
- Group V (V)
- Group VI (Cr, Mo, W)
- Group VIII (Ni, Pd, Pt, Co, Rh, Ir, Fe, Ru)
We have experience in making unsymmetric single-site catalysts:
- Cp'MX3 where Cp' is any cyclopentadienyl, M is
metal and X is an ancillary ligand such as Cl, Me, and OMe (e.g.,
CpZrCl3)
- Cp'Cp"MCl2 where Cp' and Cp" are different cyclopentadienyls
- Cp'MX2[-BNR] where Cp' is a general cyclopentadienyl,
B is a bridging group
