Manufacturing
The GRACE Davison FCC catalyst manufacturing
facility in Worms, Germany is the largest in Europe and features
state-of-the-art processing equipment and control systems. The original plant
came on stream in 1982 and, to match market demand for the products, capacity
was substantially increased in 1989 with the addition of a second FCC plant on
the same site. In 1997 the site manufacturing capacity was further increased
with the addition of new spray dryer and calciners, followed by modification
and capacity increase for the production of intermediates in 1999. The latest
addition took place in October 2003 when the new, upgrading, production plant
for EnhanceR catalysts was commissioned.
Grace Davison is committed to supplying the refining industry with advanced
catalyst technologies to meet increasingly demanding performance and
environmental standards.
