Grace Davison has made many important contributions in fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) since we manufactured the world's first synthetic FCC catalyst in 1942. This includes the introduction of the first spray dried, microspheroidal catalyst in 1948, the pioneering of the first commercial zeolite-based FCC catalyst in 1964, and the introduction of ZSM-5 based additives in 1986.
