Davison Automatic Injection System
(D.A.I.S.)

The Davison Automatic Injection System (DAIS), developed by Grace Davison and Pneumix B.V., is designed to feed additives or catalyst into an FCC unit. Using a state of the art weighing system and computer control, reliable and fully automatic injection of additive/catalyst is achieved.

Since their introduction in 1994, more than 25 DAIS units have been installed and are in operation. Several more units are currently under construction.

The DAIS base unit is a modular design that can be used with our standard flow-bin (1m³ volume), a hopper (typically 3m³- 40m³ volume), or connected to an existing catalyst silo. The selected option will depend upon the dosage rate of the additive/ catalyst required.

The DAIS system is designed and certified according to German Standards (TÜV, AD-Merkblatt) for operation in Explosion Zone I areas.
